Server Overview
The TA+ platform has been engineered for hardware efficiency and requires fewer server resources than comparable systems resulting in cost savings for our customers. Arrendale’s technical staff configures each site-licensed hardware system to the specific needs of the organization resulting in optimal speed and storage capability. Virtual server environments are supported in addition to dedicated servers.
Depending on the needs of each particular organization, between one and four servers are required for site-licensed deployments. The backbone of Arrendale’s clinical documentation system are the dictation capture and workflow management servers. For dictation and transcription the first server would be the dedicated dictation server and the second being the document server which orchestrates job allocation, workflow, audit logging, document delivery, and electronic signature. From this fundamental setup more servers may be added for local transcript distribution and automatic speech recognition processing.
