Our system provides several standard reports to measure automatic speech recognition, ASR, success rates.  Managers produce reports quickly from TA⁺, specifying the date range of interest, to see results and trends with either frontend or backend speech recognition. We use the term ‘Error Rate’ to gauge the draft text that emerges from the speech recognition engines before human correcting; the lower the error rates, the better the text from the engine and the less correcting to be required. Standard ASR reports measure individual physicians in detail and in summary format.  Reports by worktype detail are included, especially helpful during the transition process as new dictators and new worktypes are added to the speech recognition workflow.
